I have previously worked in banking and retail environments which has given me a high level of experience in customer care. However after coming back from travelling I realised that I wanted to pursue a career working with and looking after the welfare of animals.

As a mature student I went to Reaseheath College and University of Chester to study Animal Behaviour and Welfare. I had a lot of hands on experience with a variety of animals from small mammals, farm animals to exotics such as snakes and lizards.

I’ve done a variety of voluntary work such as socialising cats at the RSPCA and also working at 2 game reserves in South Africa. This was a fantastic experience helping the vets with the white lions and cheetahs and also taking part in a game capture and release.

I have a very loving and encouraging family, along with my supportive partner Paul, 2 adorable dogs Leo (Boxer X) and Tia (Staffordshire Bull Terrier) and George our bearded dragon. I have had pets all throughout my life including small mammals and cats.

I understand the important of keeping pets in their own environment and keeping them in a normal routine. I realise how difficult it can be to work full time and try and fit everything into a busy schedule. I am committed to taking care of your animals’ welfare to ease some of that pressure and to keep you and your pet happy.
